At our April meeting we welcomed Jude Cohen from Incredible Edible, a Community Benefit Society made up of local volunteers with a shared passion for community gardening and education.
The movement that started so small has spread across the world and brings together people from all walks of life, enhancing community cohesion, environmental knowledge and food education. We strongly recommend you find out more about Incredible Edible, go on one of their tours (taking in the Incredible Edible vegetable beds, fruit trees and herbs which are all free to pick) and make a donation if you can. As well as the usual tea and tasty cakes (donated by members for our meetings), Heather organised a plant swap and launched a Sunflower competition to compliment our green-fingered theme.
