Four members have received bursaries to use in 2018

In 2017 one of our members, Sophie Hudson, visited Denman College to undertake a course ‘Sewing: Trousers , pattern and Toile’. This was a four day course run by a woman called Christine Eady

The course involved pattern drawing, and making the toile and then a block and a paper pattern for future use.

Sophie gave us a lot of information about the college itself – the catering and bar facilities, the other delegates that she met, a description of the building and the facilities.  She was given a tour of the college and information about its history.

She really enjoyed her time at Denman and gave us a lot of information relating to it.
