Hebden Bridge WI has several sub-groups that meet with varying degrees of regularity.
Theatre Group
The Theatre Group is not just about visiting the theatre. We also go to watch films at Hebden Bridge Picture House, visit local exhibitions, talks etc. Whatever takes our fancy! Outings are arranged through our private WhatsApp group, which is only available to Hebden Bridge WI members.
Gardening group
This is open to anyone with an interest The group meets by arrangement and the meetings are usually held in a member’s garden. We arrange relevant talks, share tips and knowledge, and visits to RHS Gardens.
Walking group
The group organises different walks from a leisurely stroll along the canal to more challenging hikes over the moors. Walks take place at various times during the week, weekends and evenings. They are a great opportunity for a chat, catch up, blow the cobwebs away and generally put the world to rights!
Walks often end with the bonus of a cheeky drink or Fish & Chips…..
